Cookie policy

This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies Insightnix uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. We keep cookie use to a minimum, and nothing beyond what is strictly necessary is set without your consent.

Your choices

You can change or withdraw your cookie consent at any time. Non-essential cookies are never set until you accept them.

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow a website to recognise your browser and remember certain information between pages or visits, such as keeping a form or session working correctly.

Cookies set by the website you are visiting are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by other services whose content loads on the page are called third-party cookies. Cookies can also be session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which remain for a set period.

Similar technologies, such as local storage, can store information in your browser in comparable ways. Where we refer to "cookies" in this policy, we mean cookies and any similar technologies we use.

2. Cookie categories

We group cookies into categories so you can decide what to allow. Only the necessary category is active by default.

Required for the website to function, including keeping your session and forms working. Exempt from consent under UK law, and cannot be switched off.

Analytics

Help us understand how the site is used, such as which dashboards are viewed most. These are only set if you accept them, and can be withdrawn at any time.

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not permit cookies that track you across other websites. Dashboard view counts are recorded server-side using aggregate counters, with no personal data or identifiers attached.

3. Cookies we use

The table below is generated automatically and lists every cookie detected on this website, grouped by category, along with its provider, purpose and duration. It updates as our cookie use changes.

4. Third-party services

To render the platform, Insightnix loads a small number of resources from third-party content delivery networks (CDNs). These are technical requests made to display the page, not tracking tools:

  • Tailwind CSS — page styling.
  • Font Awesome — icons.
  • Chart.js and D3.js — interactive charts.
  • Map boundary data — world map visualisations.

As part of standard operation, these providers may receive your IP address and set their own technical cookies under their respective privacy policies. They do not receive personal information from us and are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. Over time we intend to self-host these resources to further reduce third-party data transfers.

We also use Cookiebot, a consent management service operated by Usercentrics, to present the cookie banner, record your choices, and block non-essential cookies until you consent. Cookiebot stores a cookie containing your consent state so your preference is remembered on future visits.

6. Managing cookies in your browser

Beyond the consent banner, you can control and delete cookies at any time through your browser settings, including blocking them entirely. Because some of the cookies we use are strictly necessary, blocking them may stop parts of the website, such as forms, from working correctly.

Guidance for the most common browsers:

General guidance on cookies and how to manage them is available at aboutcookies.org.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this cookie policy from time to time, for example if the cookies used by the website change. The current version is always published on this page, and the "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Where a change introduces a new category of non-essential cookie, we will ask for your consent again before it is used.

8. Contact

If you have questions about our use of cookies, or about how we handle personal information more broadly, please contact Isodev Limited. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
